Avery Dennison Label and Graphic Materials recognised eight pressure-sensitive industry suppliers during the company’s fourth annual supplier recognition ceremony held recently in Mentor, Ohio. Winners were selected based on their performance in areas such as sustainability, innovation, service, and quality.
Italy-based filmic liner supplier Siliconature was recognised as Supplier of the Year, and BO Paper of Brazil) received the Supplier of Distinction Award for its ability to help Avery Dennison introduce a mechanical pulp sheet liner in Brazil, which was then adopted in Argentina.
Best Emerging Supplier award went to Wampolet of China and Best Indirect Supplier was SAP Ariba of California.
Best Supplier Sustainability award went to Lenzing Papier of Austria, Best Supplier Service award went to Boise Paper, (Lake Forest, Illinois), Best Supplier Innovation went to Verso (Memphis, Tennessee) and the Best Supplier Quality award went to
Lawter, (Chicago, Illinois).
