FachPack, the European trade fair for packaging, processing and technology, will occupy twelve halls at its exhibition venue in Nuremberg for the first time since it began in 1979. Back then it attracted 2,000 visitors. This year more than 40,000 trade visitors are expected.
With its extensive range of products and services relating to the packaging process chain for industrial and customer goods, the event will be held in a compact three-day programme running from September 25th to 27th with its new brand identity “Tomorrow begins when you create it”. With a portfolio made up of packaging materials, packaging accessories, packaging materials, labelling and marking technology, peripheral packaging machinery and equipment, packaging printing and finishing, intra-logistics and packaging logistics and services for the packaging industry, FachPack draws trade visitors from all packaging-intensive sectors: Food and beverages, pharmaceuticals and medical technology, cosmetics, chemicals, automotive and other consumer and industrial goods.
Each hall will be themed with the following focus areas: Hall 1: Labelling and marking equipment; Hall 2: Adhesive technology; Hall 3: Automation, robotics, palletizing systems, components; Hall 3A: Pharmaceuticals and medical technology, cosmetics; Hall 4: Intra- and packaging logistics, labelling and marking equipment, environmental engineering; Hall 4A: Intra- and packaging logistics; Hall 5: Paper, carton, cardboard, metal; Hall 6: Flexible and moulded plastic, wood; Hall 7: Flexible and moulded plastic; Hall 7A: Paper, carton, cardboard; Hall 8: Packaging printing, processing, premium packaging; Hall 9: Flexible and moulded plastic, paper, carton, cardboard.
