J&J Consumer is the worldwide leading Consumer Healthcare Company with the specific focus and mission to develop and market innovative OTC and consumer healthcare products and services.
In 2009, the former OTC-division of Janssen-Cilag, the former Pfizer Consumer Healthcare organization & the former J&J Consumer organization, joint into one big consumer healthcare organization, named “J&J Consumer NV”.
The Benelux organization, which is based in Beerse (Belgium), is responsible for the sales and marketing of several leading brands in key consumer segments:
– for OTC in the area of Digestive Health (Imodium, Motilium), Pain (Perdolan), Cough & Cold (Bronchosedal, Sinutab), Smoking Cessation (Nicorette), & Other Segments (Daktarin, Hextril, etc.),
– and for Beauty & Baby (Roc, Neutrogena, Le Petit Marseillais), Women’s healthcare (OB, Carefree, Vania), Oralcare (Listerine) and Woundcare in means of Footcare and Cold Sore (Compeed).
Position summary:
We are looking for collaborators who have a passion for marketing and a 3 to 5 years confirmed experience.
As a Brand Manager you will be responsible for the footcare and cold sore brand Compeed and will lead the business in Belgium and the Netherlands. The position is based in Beerse where you will be part of an extensive, dynamic and diverse marketing team.
Key responsibilities for the position include:
– taking the lead on the full day-to-day management of a brand which operates within different categories (blister, cold sore, corn), in different channels (pharma and mass) and two markets (Belgium and Netherlands)
– ensuring excellent collaboration with internal and external parties both locally and internationally
– supporting senior brand manager in the development of appropriate business and marketing plan
– implementing and coordinating local plans and marketing activities, ensuring quantitative and qualitative objectives are met
– developing integrated communications to clients, health care professionals and consumers
– briefing and coordination of media agency
– analyzing client, market and sales data
– forecasting as well as financial and logistical planning incl. tracking
– planning and monitoring marketing budgets
The Brand Manager reports into the Senior Brand Manager Compeed, DASHB. Furthermore, there is a Junior Brand Manager directly reporting to the Brand Manager.

Qualifications
– Completion of studies in economics with focus on marketing (or equivalent)
– 3 to 5 years relevant experience in marketing (incl. digital expertise); experience in sales is an asset
– Able to work independently and result oriented
– Excellent skills in project and complexity management
– Excellent Communication skills
– Very good Analytical skills
– Passion for talent development, experience in people management is an asset
– Passion for teamwork
– Fluent in speech & writing: Dutch, English
– Good knowledge in French is an asset
