It’s a wrap for radio launch, which gets a glossy finish

New web radio, Radio Vino, chose an unusual way to launch at the En Vrac wine bar in Paris. The outer walls of the wine bar were covered with a silver glossy label paper, Chromolux Alu 90 gsm.
The radio station’s founder, Thierry Poincin, wanted to create an outstanding event in his renowned wine bar En Vrac, that was elected as Best Wine Bar by Time-out magazine in 2014
The new web radio, which is all about wine, launched on March 22nd and Thierry asked had asked Zanders to cover the outer walls of the bar with Chromolux label paper. Sanders is a German manufacturer of high quality speciality papers and boards developed especially for labels, packaging and graphical applications
Chromolux label papers, like the chosen Chromolux Alu, are primarily used for high-end products such as champagne and spirits. Xeikon printed the Radio Vino logo on the Chromolux roll, and the “artists-ouvriers” of the studio Artelle, Drass and Manue, carried out the on-site installation on the four-metre-high walls.
“The result was phenomenal and surpassed our expectations,” said Thierry Poincin. “The brilliance of the aluminum reminded us of the INOX wine tanks that are located in the restaurant.”
Frédéric Delage, Sales Manager France at Zanders, added: “This event absolutely contributed to this year’s celebration of 60 years of Chromolux.”
