Two companies in the north of England have announced notable expansions.
Domino Printing Sciences is marking its 40th anniversary with the opening of its new fluids manufacturing facility in Liverpool, UK. Through the company’s investment in advanced industry production processes, the 175,000sq ft (16,000sq m) site will provide Domino with a significant increase in productivity and capacity and a reduction in lead times. The expansion has created 19 new jobs, bringing the total workforce of the factory to 88 over the next nine months.
United Caps, an international manufacturer of caps and closures, has announced that it will be constructing a new manufacturing plant in Dinnington, Rotherham. The initial facility will be 5,000 square metres, with an option to expand to 20,000 square meters as business growth demands.
