Good practice guidelines advise that regular checks on the condition and accuracy of weights should be performed. The accuracy of test weights can be affected over time by environmental influences or deterioration due to use. METTLER TOLEDO’s on-site, purpose-built mass laboratory performs calibrations which meet the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2005. UKAS calibration certificates detail the description of the weight, its uncertainty of measurement and deviation from OIML R111 tolerance limits. The scope of calibration covered includes E2 weights between 1mg and 2kg and F1 and M1 weights between 1mg and 30kg.
